How it works
- Account balance. Every account starts with a 1,000 simulated balance for the open board. Use Reset to start over.
- Market price. Take the moneyline from the sportsbook in ESPN's feed, convert to implied probability and remove the vig.
- Simple model. Each team's win rate (60% season, 40% home/road split), regressed toward .500, combined with log5, plus a league home-field bump.
- Blend. Final probability = market × (1 − w) + model × w, with w capped at 25%. The market is trusted most.
- Pick. The side whose blended probability beats the market most. Confidence is High, Medium or Low from edge and EV. Pick of the Day is the highest-EV non-Low pick between −250 and +250.
- Grading. After the game, each pick is graded W/L/Push from the ESPN final score. Nothing is backfilled.
A simple statistical model, not inside information. It ignores injuries, lineups and weather. Expect it to lose often.
